Lindsay Lohan sported a new accessory on Wednesday after a judge revoked her probation: Handcuffs.

The actor was taken into custody after Superior Court judge Stephanie Sautner revoked her probation because she was ousted from a community service assignment at a women’s

shelter.

“There has been violation after violation,” Sautner said.Bail was set at $100,000. Lohan’s spokesman Steve Honig said it was immediately posted and the actor was later released from Airport Courthouse.

“We’re dealing with someone on probation,” said Lohan’s attorney, Shawn Holley. “Most people on probation don’t always do things perfectly.”

A city prosecutor recommended jail time, but Sautner set a November 2 hearing to decide whether Lohan should serve another stint behind bars, where she has been sent four previous times only to be released early due to jail overcrowding.

“If jail meant something in the state of California now, maybe I’d put her in jail,” Sautner said.

The development marked the latest legal problem for the 25-year-old Lohan, who was given probation for a 2007 drunken driving case and a misdemeanor theft case this year.

“Lindsay is hoping this matter will be resolved on Nov. 2 and the court will reinstate probation and allow her to continue fulfilling her community service,” Honig said.

Four days after the 24-year-old ” Mean Girls” star pleaded not guilty to stealing a chain from a Venice, Calif. boutique on Jan. 22, her attorney has said the necklace isn”t worth anywhere the amount the store was asking for.

Various Los Angeles jewelers have appraised the one-of-a-kind piece Lohan is alleged to have taken at between 800 dollars and 1,000, dollars.

“It seems to me that the appropriate charge, based on the fair market value of the goods, should have been petty theft and not grand theft,” the New York Daily News quoted LiLo’’s lawyer, Shawn Holley, as telling TMZ.

A petty theft charge is punishable by six months in jail, a much lighter sentence than the 3-1/2 years Lohan could face if convicted of grand theft.

The actress, who has a turbulent relationship with Samantha, reportedly told a friend how the romance had, at times, been very violent, with Lindsay having the scars to prove it, reported femalefirst.co.uk.

“One time I saw Lindsay and she had a large welt on her head. She told me that Sam beat the s**t out of her,” said a friend. “She also said that Sam even punched and choked her one time.”

Although they have officially broken up, the two women still have regular contact with each other, which makes things hard on Lindsay.

This is not the first time Lindsay has made accusations about Samantha.

The 22-year-old starlet claims that constant speculation about her bank accounts, sobriety and her relationship with Samantha Ronson has left her perturbed.

“They need to stop saying we’re fighting,” The New York Daily News quoted Lindsay as telling E! Online.

“People telling lies about me to her and all this garbage. I’m really a good person and I have a good heart and just want to work. The only reason I go to clubs is to hear Samantha spin or be normal,” she added.

Despite being in the rehab on more than one occasion, the Mean Girls star insists she’s not into drinks and drugs. “I don’t drink, I don’t do drugs and I don’t lie,” she said.

“I love to act and write and be creative, and I want to help people by playing characters that can send a positive message out to whosoever may need it,” she added.

A source tells Page Six the two “are fighting like cats and dogs. They fight every day, screaming, crying and yelling at each other.”

“Sam and Lindsay are still very much together and very much in love, but drama just seems to follow Lindsay, and Sam hates it.”

“She deals with Lindsay every day. And every day for Sam means questioning, ‘Is this worth it?’ ”

They’ve been fighting all over the globe and most recently got in an explosive screaming match in London where The Sun reported that “all hell broke loose.”

The source adds, “The things they argue about have to do with their age difference, but no matter what happens, at the end of the day, they are always fine.”

We’re guessing that the fact that Lindsay keeps insisting that she is not a lesbian isn’t really helping matters.

“Lindsay threw a tantrum and wanted to fight a girl who was talking to Samantha,” another source told the magazine. After the fight, Lindsay attended the MTV Video Music Awards and she was seen with red marks running up her arms, leading to fears she had self-harmed.

“Lindsay has locked herself in the bathroom and cut herself in the past. Samantha is aware of this and has hidden razors from Lindsay,” said the source.

New York, July 2 (ANI): The world finally knows what American actress Lindsay Lohan’s possible half sister Ashley Kaufmann looks like, with the latter’s photos being released.

The pics show a striking resemblance between Kaufmann, 13, and the actress.

The resemblance with Lindsay starts from her freckles right up to her smile, and she can easily be mistaken for one of the Lohan family members.

Lindsay’s dad Michael Lohan has taken a DNA test to find out if he really is the father of the Montana teen.

“I’ve seen pictures and, to tell the truth, there are similarities with Linds,” New York Daily News quoted Michael Lohan as saying last week.

Even though he admits the teen resembles the actress, he is still unsure if the girl really is his daughter and he has gone so far as to say that he will sue Kaufmann for libel and defamation if the DNA tests results come back negative.

He has also stated that he will not force his daughters with ex wife Dina – Lindsay and Ali – to have any kind of relationship with their possible sibling.

Results from the DNA test should be back within two weeks. (ANI)
